Ashley is an Occupational Therapist who joined the Two Trees team in 2018 at our Neuro and Kids locations. She has a passion for sensory integration, anxiety management for pediatrics and providing visually enhance therapy. Ashley is currently in the process of becoming a certified brain injury specialist and certified clinical anxiety treatment professional.
Ashley graduated from Stanbridge University in 2018 with her master’s in occupational therapy where she completed her master’s thesis on neurodegenerative diseases. She and her colleagues compiled current research on occupational therapy interventions into a manual to provide practitioners and caregivers with easily accessible, evidence-based interventions that will optimize functional independence for clients with neurodegenerative diseases.
Ashley has experience with populations that range across the lifespan. Her past experiences have diversified her clinical expertise to include outpatient pediatric services for kids with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and developmental delay as well as outpatient adult services for clients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic conditions, Parkinson’s Disease, and spinal cord injury. Ashley’s primary goal is to provide therapeutic interventions that increase self-efficacy by facilitating engagement in meaningful activities with maximal independence.
