Charlie Amburgey graduated from Chapman University in 2012 with a doctorate degree in physical therapy.
Doctor Charlie grew up in Costa Mesa, California where he played football, basketball, and baseball and was a member of the Madrigal Choir. In 2005 Charlie attended University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA where he played football and graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics in 2005.
Business wasn’t for Charlie, so he made the choice to move back to his home state and attended Chapman University where he received his doctorate degree in physical therapy.
Dr. Charlie has an extensive background in manual orthopedics, neuromuscular rehabilitation and pediatrics.
He has treated a wide variety of patients such as babies with spina bifida, baseball pitchers with rotator cuff injuries, and persons suffering spinal cord injuries and stroke.
Charlie has taken additional courses to further his education and his career. Additional courses include manual therapy, kinesio taping and a variety of other specialities.

Dr. Charlie lives in Ventura with his wife, Jamie, who is also a physical therapist and his year old son, Wesley.
When he is not working on perfecting his craft he is enjoys spending time with his family or working out at CrossFit.
