Erik Kreil received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Lynchburg College in Virginia after receiving his Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University.
Erik grew up in the heart of Washington, D.C and attended an all-male Jesuit high school. It was here that he got his first opportunities to play rugby at both national and international levels, growing his appreciation for returning patients to the playing field. Since, Erik worked with student athletes in a Fitness Assessment Center, conducted nationally presented research studying college athlete concussions, and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Curiosity is what drives Erik’s work. He has a strong appreciation for investigating the root-cause of a patient’s symptoms and making connections between clues presented in evaluations. He believes that listening is just as important as seeing and is aspiring to begin his Orthopedic Residency in the coming years. In his spare time, Erik exercises, spends time with friends, and explores new restaurants.
