Marc Broberg, PT, MSPT, NCS is a board certified, vestibular expert at Two Trees Physical Therapy in Ventura, CA.

Marc graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from University of California San Francisco / San Francisco State University in 2002. Prior to pursuing a graduate degree in PT, Marc earned a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics from CSUN and participated in clinical research at the Center for Human Movement Studies at Georgia Tech in collaboration with Emory University. Over the last 10 years, Marc has focused his clinical, research, and educational efforts on treating patients with Neurologic disorders in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. In March 2011, Marc became certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University / American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and has since completed advanced coursework in Vestibular Rehabilitation and concussion management from the University of Pittsburgh. Marc has joined the faculty in the Physical Therapy Department at California State University, where he teaches Neurologic Physical Therapy. In Spring 2013, Marc achieved his board certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS).

Describe the essence of what you do in your job:

I join my clients in an individual journey for optimal recovery and wellness.

What are some of your interests, outside of work?

Church activities, family time, running, hiking.

What are some things you believe in? What is your favorite quote or words of wisdom?

Rehabilitation is about unlocking the body’s potential for healing and acquiring skills for maximal recovery. Maximal recovery requires a holistic approach involving physical, emotional, and spiritual healing from injury or disease. My goal is to provide a collaborative, positive, patient-centered experience that promotes maximal recovery and performance that enables the client to return to what is meaningful.

What do you like most about working at this organization?

Our staff is like-minded in that we are motivated to provide the ultimate rehabilitation experience and results for our clients, from start to finish.

What do you like most about caring for patients?

Helping people understand their potential for recovery in complex situations. I enjoy witnessing those “Aha!” moments when the client begins to believe in the process and in themselves.
