Shanna graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2012 from California State University, Dominguez Hills where she was an active member of Pi Theta Epsilon, an occupational therapy honors society. She has a background providing occupational therapy services for the adult and geriatric population within a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation as well as skilled nursing facilities. Her primary expertise, and passion, is hand therapy, including treatment of fingers, wrists, and elbows.
Shanna regularly attends continuing education in upper extremity rehabilitation. She is also a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists. Shanna is CA advanced practice approved in physical agent modalities and hand therapy. She is currently pursuing a certification in hand therapy. Shanna especially enjoys working with patients and helping them to reach their goals.
