Tammy graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington in 1998. Volunteer experiences include a trip to Thailand in 2002 with Wheels for Humanity, where she functioned as a seating specialist.
Tammy specializes in pediatrics, feeding and swallowing, and adult neurological rehabilitation. She spent the first 10 years of her practice dedicated to pediatrics in an Out Patient Rehabilitation system, then County Hospital system (working with children of all ages from Neonatal Intensive Care to young adults with learning/developmental disabilities in an out patient setting). During the past 4 years Tammy has also expanded her clinical skills and education to working with adult neurological and geriatric rehabilitation.
California Children Services Paneled Occupational Therapist, California Advanced Practice in Swallowing, and a Certificate in the Basic Mastery of the DIR/Floortime Model. Tammy enjoys working together with patients and their families to maximize their function and quality of life.
